Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference Offshore Projects and a project home builder?
The building process is quite complicated at every level and project home builders main business is building the same houses repeatedly, where as all our projects are individual and customised it to your exact requirements.
I’m not sure about the budget, is this important?
As the home owner you should do some personal budgeting, speak to your bank/mortgage broker or even get a real estate agent to value your property before proceeding into a build or renovation. You will need to provide us with a budget guide to ensure you can afford your expected outcome. We will be honest and upfront with you so you don’t waste your time & money if the build is unrealistic.
How long does the build and/or renovations take?
Generally the construction period is approximately 9 months for a standard double storey home of approximate size of 250m2. The complexity, size and inclusions of the home can affect the length of the construction period. The term in the building contract takes into consideration the specific requirements of your home and site. For difficult sites the construction period can take up to 12 months. Kitchen and Bathroom renovations can take anywhere form 2 - 6 weeks.
Generally a first floor addition or extension is approximately a 3 month process. A new home build is approximately 6-9 months for a standard double storey home of approximate size of 250m2. The weather, complexity, size and inclusions of the home can affect the length of the construction period but this is all discussed at the time if quoting.
